Podiatry, also called podiatric medicine, is the medical, surgical, and biomechanical treatment of the human foot, ankle, and associated structures.

Our State Registered Podiatrist has extensive skills in biomechanical assessments & gait analysis, general foot treatments, nail surgery, orthotic prescriptions from temporary and off the shelf inserts for your shoe, through to custom made prescription orthotics made from a plaster cast mould of your feet.

At The Old Pit Practice our Podiatrist commonly sees problems such as corns, calluses, warts, nail disorders, biomechanical conditions such as arch or heel pain, tendonitis, neuroma, bursitis, diabetic foot concerns, podiatric sports injuries and the particular foot problems faced by children and the elderly.

To book an appointment with our Podiatrist/Chiropodist then please contact us.

An initial appointment for Podiatry is approximately 1hr and follow up sessions are 20 minutes. Chiropody appointments are approximately 20 minutes.
